The YMCA Mexico trip offers participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful service at YMCAs in the Mexico City area, where children find refuge and support.

Volunteers will assist with maintenance and beautification projects designed to make YMCA facilities feel more like a home. These efforts directly contribute to creating a warm, welcoming environment for children who have faced hardship, helping them feel safe and cared for.

Participants on the YMCA Mexico trip will connect with staff dedicated to supporting deported youth at the YMCA in Mexico City. Despite the challenges, their compassion leaves a lasting impression.

For many, interacting with the YMCA staff and volunteers is the trip's highlight. Their care creates deep connections, inspiring participants and demonstrating the powerful impact of love and compassion on vulnerable youth.

Through art, history, and cultural storytelling, participants gain a deeper appreciation for Mexico’s creative spirit, national identity, and rich artistic traditions.

Chapultepec

A visit to Chapultepec Castle offers participants the opportunity to explore one of Mexico City’s most historic and breathtaking landmarks, perched high above the city within the famous Chapultepec Park.

Through stunning architecture, panoramic views, and rich historical exhibits, participants gain a deeper appreciation for Mexico’s history, leadership, culture, and national identity.

Xochimilco

A visit to Xochimilco offers participants the opportunity to experience one of Mexico City’s most colorful and vibrant cultural traditions through its floating canals and trajinera boat rides.

Through music, local cuisine, scenic waterways, and festive community atmosphere, participants gain a deeper appreciation for the history, traditions, and joyful spirit of Mexican culture.

Coyoacán

A visit to Coyoacán offers participants the opportunity to explore one of Mexico City’s most charming neighborhoods, known for its colorful streets, artistic heritage, plazas, and vibrant local culture.

Teotihuacán

A visit to Teotihuacán offers participants the opportunity to explore one of the most important ancient cities in the Americas, home to the iconic Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon.

Through guided exploration, ancient ruins, and cultural storytelling, participants gain a deeper appreciation for the history, innovation, and lasting influence of Mexico’s early civilizations.

The monthly payment plan is calculated with a 10% administrative fee added to the total cost, with 20% of the total due at the time of registration. The remaining balance, including the administrative fee, will be divided into equal monthly payments over a 12-month period.
